Men's Fashion: How to Choose T-Shirts

Men's Fashion: How to Choose T-Shirts
The credit crunch has meant that many of us have had to pull in the purse strings of late, and one area that seems to suffer from our lack of money is our fashion. The economy has meant that clothing has taken a back seat, particularly for men. The consequences of this is that we actually have to take greater care when choosing our clothes, as a fashion faux pas cannot be rectified until the following pay day. With less money, we must consider our fashion choices much more carefully. Here, we will consider men's t-shirts, as these tend to form the focal part of any outfit and can make or break our overall look.
Size
One of the problems we have regarding sizing with men's t-shirts is that many men emulate their fathers, and in previous generations, men were less concerned with fashion, but more so with comfort, they tended to wear baggy because it felt comfy. Avoid this trap.
Style/design
There are many popular men's t-shirt designs, but in order to be truly fashionable, you should own at least one retro style t-shirt. These t-shirts are fantastically versatile, suiting many styles of clothing - although you should only wear such t-shirts in a casual setting.
Colour
Colour tends to be a big problem for men, particularly concerning fashion. In part, this is because a large proportion of men - far more than women - are actually colour-blind. If you are such a person, then seek the help of others to help you decide upon colour, as colours that appear harmonious to you, may appear to clash to people who can see the whole colour spectrum.

Glaze and Nail Art: All the Trends 2011-2012

Glaze and Nail Art: All the Trends 2011-2012
The nails this spring summer 2011 were a real riot of color and this trend, at least in part (the colors are so bright but not garish) will be with us even during the coldest months of the year. Yes: fingernails "in the fall winter 2011-2012 version of" want to appear in all their glory, in other words, they want to convey warmth and color! We begin our little journey speaking of the form that we give our nails to be trendy.
It seems that the short length is definitely OUT while the top is a medium-size, and it's a bit 'rounded and a little' stiletto; remember, however, is that these guidelines are very general. You will then evaluate you according to your need (I strongly doubt that a woman struggling with house cleaning can go around with nail-style "weapon of war," that is very long and sharp!) The style that suits, and possibly convenience
We talked about the great classics or color but black and red resist. We can find them in the very chic and elegant collection of LancĂ´me called 29 St. Honore, not forget that we can "play" with more traditional colors such as creating French manicure with details of the bezel red (or black) and the rest of the nail of a neutral color. (Little hint. Do not use red on the nails very long, you risk appearing vulgar)
And it is precisely this type of nail art that we see more and more frequently in its classical version (the one with the white bezel) to provide many different ideas: how about a golden French manicure and nail the rest black? The final effect is ensured.

Vintage Clothing Trend Report - Autumn-Winter 2011-2012

Vintage Clothing Trend Report - Autumn-Winter 2011-2012
We've had lots of fun scouring the AW catwalks and trend projections this month, and this next season is bursting with gorgeous ideas that are really fun to create. As always, we take a look at our favourite trends and give you some hints on how to create these looks the vintage clothing way...
Clash Prints
One of our favourites, this trend is set to run and run, opening a whole new chapter for the way we dress. Love that polka dot vintage top but want to wear your leopard print leggings? Got a gorgeous snakeskin vintage dress but fancy slipping on your new rose print heels? Well with Print Clash, there are no rules! The brighter and bolder the better, mixing florals, spots, animal prints, stripes and more! What combination will you come up with?
Forties Glam
One trend we're relishing this winter is the glorious forties. This super luxe look is all about drape, cut and showing off those curves. Classic 1940s vintage dresses are fitted at the top, often with buttons, and with gorgeous flattering mid length skirts, and bias cut evening gowns are even more glamorous. Also think accessories, feathers or flowers in the hair, fur capes and stoles, headscarves and gorgeous vintage shoes. Make every day a tea dance day this season!
Jewel Tones
This adds a gorgeous twist to the usual Christmas party frock, as well as adding some welcomed glamout to daytime dressing. Think jewel-toned colours like amber, emerald, ruby red, amethyst, sapphire and teal. For the office, team jewel tone vintage silk blouses with neat black pencil skirts. For date night go for jeans and a cute vintage jacket with some gorgeous jewel bright shoes. And of course you simply have to seek out a sexy jewel tone vintage dress for the Christmas party - whether it's a 70s chiffon maxi, a 60s micro mini, 80s clingy cocktail or a 50s wiggle dress.

Women's Hairstyles For 2012: Short Hair Trend Prediction

Women's Hairstyles For 2012: Short Hair Trend Prediction
On the other hand, if you want a longer-than-pixie short haircut, you can opt for the bob hairstyle. Adding layers to your hair will also make you look chic. For a more daring look, choose tousled and messy appearance for your bob haircut. However, if you prefer a sleeker style, a straightening iron and some styling products are the must have instruments for a perfect straight bob.
Although we have not reach 2012 yet, we can predict that the short hair trends of 2011 will still be 'in' next year. While the bob and the pixie are classic hairstyles that will never go out of date, there are still more options for you who are brave enough to wear your hair short.
2012 will still maintain longer crops and side swept bangs to accompany the short styles. For a bolder look, the more extreme cut such as punk-inspired style is predicted to exist.
Instead of plain colored hair, it seems that 2012 is the year of colors. More highlights will be given for more definitive short hairstyle. Besides that, women are also encouraged for dyeing their hair for a fancier touch. For a more festive touch, feather hair extensions which have become a trend in 2011 can still occur in 2012 for adorning and defining short hairstyles.

Fur Fashion Trends 2011-2012 - Six Most Important Trends

Fur Fashion Trends 2011-2012 - Six Most Important Trends
major fur trends from the international runways.
• Color was one of the most exciting and newest trends to emerge from the runways as designers opted for a palette of vivid playful bright colors, soft frosted pales and a range of intensely saturated jewel tones. Most commercial colors highlighted here are the use of poppy red, bright teal and the darker mallard green shades, all worked on piled furs. Key shapes to note are the vintage jackets with 40s and 70s overtones, both key eras for inspiration next winter.

• Vintage influences were the strongest trend direction from all four of the fashion capitals as designers opted for the safety net of the past for inspiration. The 20s and 30s were a strong tipping point for looks that concentrated on plush fur trims and dropped waist silhouettes. The 60s and 70s were the other key style decades plundered for next winter.

• The season's mood of confidence also came through in the dramatic furs that headlined on the runways. It was all about the extravagant texture of furs like goat and Mongolian lamb - both fitting retro 60s and 70s silhouettes - or the elegant luxury of full furs like fox and mink, key to the vintage 30s and 40s look. Key silhouettes include the cropped jacket, especially in fox, the big shrug-on coat or jacket and the cape There was also a huge amount of lamb in every texture and weight, worked into commercial sports-driven looks like the shell top and zip-up coat

• And the mood of confidence came through too in the bold use of mixed furs, as designers put contrasting textures together to create textural dimension within a silhouette. That means flat silky furs like persian lamb combined with mink, arctic fox with sheared mink and feathered fox or mink with the opposing texture of furs like raccoon. Watch also for color-blocking as part of this look, especially the bold geometric Constructivist-inspired looks as seen at Celine, fitting the season's mood for all things 30s.
